Undergraduate research projects have been allocated for the academic year 2022/23 and we're very excited to have four new students working with us in the autumn. This will be the first project we have run at UoB that involves collecting new data, so it's quite the milestone!

As part of their Psychology BSc, the students will set up and run a new study into the causes and effects of 'Felt Sense of Anomaly'-type dissociative experiences in young people (aged 16 to 25). The focus will be on psychosocial factors and mental health symptoms.

But there is more...

After this group of students have happily handed in their dissertations, the project will continue, collecting more data to allow for more robust and generalisable analysis.

Watch this space for your chance to participate: the study is due to open to participants at the end of 2022.
