This is the beginning of the blog: today is Emma's first day at the University of Birmingham.
Previously, Dr Emma Černis was based at the University of Oxford and Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust working on clinical trials of psychosis, so it's very exciting to start this new chapter concentrating on dissociation research.
In her role as Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology, Emma will be teaching and supervising across the undergraduate, masters, and doctorate courses in psychology and beginning a programme of research dedicated to better understanding the psychology of dissociation.
