Free Dissociation Resource for Young People

We are working with The McPin Foundation, Unreal, and young people with lived experience of dissociation to co-produce an information and self-help booklet for young people experiencing dissociation or depersonalisation for the first time.

We’ve launched a brand-new booklet for young people experiencing dissociation for the first time — created in collaboration with lived experience advisors, and shaped by early findings from the ABCD study.

The content is designed to offer clear, reassuring explanations and to gently challenge common myths and misunderstandings about dissociative experiences.

The resource was launched in November 2025 via a free webinar, open to professionals, young people, service managers - anyone interested in the project.

The booklet is available for free online. We also have a limited number of physical copies available by request: please contact us if you’re interested!

We hope to distribute to GP surgeries, counselling spaces, youth services and beyond. Can you help us spread the word?
